The good part of this college is the, it is the central government college of petroleum. The bad part of this college is that less number of students so that friend circle is not too big.

college through jee Advanced exam. There is seprate counseling for this college. The cut off petroleum engineering is nearly 14k(AIR) in jee Advanced. It is no 1.college of petroleum technology of central government. This college is not included in josaa counseling therefore it's take it own counseling.

The placement scenario is a good one here. Most students are able to get a decent package. Mock interview are held and personal counseling sessions are organized for the students. Companies like Shell, Cairn, Halliburton, ONGC, IOCL, HPCL, Reliance, Essar come for placement but the main aim still remains at the international companies for placement with an average package of around Rs 10 Lakhs
